Don’t Run Out Of Gas in the middle of town. There we were pushing his little Volkswagen Polo down the street at 1 a.m. in the center of Berlin, Germany. A car that gets great gas mileage and a gas station 1 block away and we were very lucky! But isn’t silly to do that? He knew it was on empty, but he thought he could get another kilometer out of that last drop of gas. Insanity.
