Blogging and the flow of ideas.
I am finally catching up to things that have been around already for quite some time. Blogging is one of them. Learning about the Empower Network has taught me that blogging isn’t only a poor authors platform, it is a way to hone your writing skills for impact and now how to use it to make an extra income.
Yesterday I was talking to a friend and telling her about blogging and what it is all about in terms of the Empower Network. She said that she has nothing to say that anyone would have any interest in reading about. I told her what I have learned in the first couple of days about the Empower Network and that is it doesn’t matter what you think the rest of the world wants to hear, what matters is that the world hears from you at all.
Nothing new to the world of bloggers.
Of course I know that what I am writing right now is common knowledge for bloggers and especially the Empower Network, but I am blogging because this is what is on my mind today, right now, how I feel, what I think and how I am able to say it. So it is what I am doing. It is also what you should do, and get good at it because it is a great way to express yourself, and in today’s world, that is important. The world needs everyone’s input, not to arouse arguments and fights, but to open up civilized discussion on topics of interest.
So it can be anything, right? Politics, money, sports, religion, relationships, love, poetry, music, drama, movies and cars, boats, planes, travel and the list goes on and on.
Express yourself versus Depress yourself.
I love to write. I discovered this as I got into writing my book Boredom to Brilliance and the other books that I have started are also fascinating projects. But, I have been under pressure to make sure I make some money so I have been suppressing my urge to write in lieu of searching for a way to make money. With Empower Network and blogging, I can use my writing to make money, and that is a thrilling proposition.
I wrote in Boredom to Brilliance that depression is the opposite of expression, and that it is possible that many people are depressed because they suppress the joy of the natural gift of expression. Humans are sensitive and expressive beings, not expressing, holding things in and stopping the flow of emotion at the point of outlet is like damming the flood waters of spring on a river. It will break through eventually, in a torrid of uncontrolled energy, sometimes with dire effects.
Paper is more patient than man.
These words quoted by Anne Frank in the collection of her writings is right on the money. Often there is no one to talk to, know one to bitch and moan to, no one to tell of happiness or love or to share thoughts of intimacy and joy with. It is in these times of heightened sensitivity and emotions that humans are most capable of the strongest communications, yet people let this power die in them, the moment is gone and the real brilliance that lies within people perishes forever. That is not healthy and the world loses out on some really great writings, music and arts of all kinds.
I am so happy to get the green light to write what is in me to express and share it with the world. Who knows if anyone will deem it worthy. Now, I can take my words, and videos, recordings maybe even drawings as a way to create an income. The is very good news!
I encourage you to take a serious look at the Empower Network and get into it as soon as you can. Go now and take some time to watch the presentation online. It is absolutely brilliant!
Thanks for reading!
