Who Cares What I Think?

Who Cares What I Think?

Getting up in the morning and writing a blog and posting a video
is something I enjoy doing a great deal.

It is just fun.

Coming up with a topic to write about is really no problem
because I just discuss what is on my mind that morning.

But, in this process I often wonder if anyone cares at all
about what I have to say…
… and does that even matter?

To be honest I have no idea if anyone cares.

I have discovered you don’t worry about that.

If you try to figure out what other people want to hear from you,
you will go bananas.

Trying to Read Other People’s Minds

What have I spent a lot of time doing in my life?                                                                                I care way too much what other people think.

Many of you may not do this, and think I’m crazy for this,
but I’ll just go ahead and say what is wrong with that picture.

When I care what other people think of me, that means that
the way I feel is based on that evaluation. If I think someone
is mad at me, that messes me up. If I think someone likes what
I do then that makes me happy.

The real issue has nothing to do with any of that.
The issue is that I think I know what other people are thinking.

…..that is a very slippery slope.

Thinking thoughts about what I think other people are thinking
about me and what I am doing or saying

…in itself is only a thought,

not real, but it can ruin your day….

…the TRUTH is:

Nobody thinks about anyone else that much, do they?

So, instead of jumping around like a Mexican Jumping Bean and
trying to figure out what to write or express based on
what you think other people want or need…..

…express what you have to express.

Gold cannot be found in an imaginary mine.                                                                                      It can only be found in the mine you are in…

True Gold

True Gold in your art and expression
can only be discovered by
mining the depth and breadth
…of your own experience and enlightenment.

Who cares? That is a question I can’t answer.

It is only for me to share as an artist
who I am, what I care about and love.

…that is the contribution the world wants.
