Complaining: A very big turnoff.

Complaining about your awesome life is a huge turnoff.

It gets a little old, doesn’t it?  People complaining about things in their lives that are of such insignificance that it seems impossible to be worth even mentioning? Yet, people moan about the smallest things and make it sound like they have been served some huge injustice by the gods, by their employer, by their employees, by society, by political parties, by the government and even their friends.

The truth is, we live in awesome times, have awesome lives and all the while look for every little thing to complain about. The prices are too high, the wages are too low, the rich people are causing all of the problems, the poor people are causing all of the problems, the left is guilty, the right is guilty…and anyone with a certain color of skin is responsible for the discomfort we experience in life.

Complaining must be some sort of way to make yourself feel like an expert on any given topic. The satisfaction we feel about dumping our issues on others is obviously so compelling that it makes us feel good in some way.

Well, I am for one tired of hearing everyone’s complaining. It is everywhere. It makes me appreciate the precious few who don’t indulge in this selfish behaviour.

Maybe I am complaining here about people complaining, but at some point you simply get tired of hearing it and have to stand up and say, ”Shut up!”

So I will ”Shut Up!”

Have a nice day, and try not to voice your complaints to every ear that is willing to ”hear you out.”

Here’s to the end of this endless whining!
