Düsseldorf Altstadt Saturday Nights
Düsseldorf Altstadt on Friday and Saturday nights is a place people go to be with people on a pretty large scale. The relatively narrow streets with all of the restaurants and kneipen draw the townspeople to it for a party atmosphere that goes late into the night. There are groups of people celebrating the night before weddings, both women and men, and different groups of people just hanging out. When the weather is nice the Düsseldorf Altstadt is even more attractive and in the long days of summer it can get to be Midnight way before you realize it.
Transportation to the Düsseldorf Altstadt
Düsseldorf is one of the most highly developed cities in Germany. It is the capitol of Nordrhein-Westfalen the most populated region in Germany and the third largest metropolitan area, known as the Rhein-Ruhr Gebiet, in Europe, behind London and Paris. Getting around Düsseldorf is easy when you use the mass transit system of subways, street cars and busses. There is ample parking in the Rhein Tief-Garage and it is also very easy to get to by car. So most people get to the Düsseldorf Altstadt by mass transit. Due to it’s central location and connection to the train system in the NRW it is no trouble at all to get to downtown Düsseldorf, without the stress of having to drive. Late at night it can get a bit interesting on mass transit but all in all Düsseldorf and Germany in general is a very safe place to hang out.
Düsseldorf Altstadt Saturday Nights
The Düsseldorf Altstadt includes some cultural institutions and neighbors on many others. Within easy walking distance you have a many museums, small theaters, the Deutsche Oper am Rhine, which is a major opera house which also has an excellent ballet, the Philharmonie, the Schauspiel Haus for drama and of course cinemas. So, a night out in the Düsseldorf Altstadt is a very tasty, happy, and cultural experience.
Düsseldorf and the Rhein-Ruhr region often get overlooked as a travel destination, because it doesn’t have the typical cliche allure of Munich, Heidelberg or the fame of Berlin and the harbor flair of Hamburg, but the region is probably the richest on earth in culture, Universities and access to the world by air and by train.
So I highly recommend it as a travel destination. If you would like to visit, write about your travels and create an income at the same time then blogging may be for you! Take a look and click here to find out more about this company!
