Making Money Without Taking Money Is The Goal Here

The thing that has always attracted me to network marketing and especially the Empower Network is that it is all about making money without taking money from people. Even when I perform service or work of some kind, I never feel comfortable with people giving me money. I’ve never sung for money, given voice lessons for money or worked for money. I can honestly say all of the jobs I had I have enjoyed doing and besides, I never really made enough money for it to be all that exciting a reason to do any job. Somehow being given money whether it is as an employee or as a gift just makes me feel weak somehow. I feel beholding, and if there is anything that I hate is to feel like I am indebted to someone.

After all, how good a job could everyone do if it wasn’t just for the money?  You’d do it because you just liked doing it.  What is it people hate about jobs in the first place? Well, you could say it is actually doing the work involved, which may be the case, but really the thing that I always hated about jobs is the prison it puts you in.  Signing a contract always made me feel like I was imprisoning myself and when I was let go or I left a job it always felt like I was being set free.  I certainly like making money, but I am not a fan of making money by taking money from companies or people. I always was searching for a way of making money without taking money.

The Guru Status of Making Money Without Taking Money

I have been dabbling with the Guru business.  I wrote the book ”Boredom to Brilliance” and unknown to me at the time, I discovered that writing a book was the easy part.  What I didn’t realize is that you would have to go around stumping your own book in the hopes of generating sales.  The only way to make money from book sales is to take money from people, and I genuinely just wanted to give the book to anyone who I felt could use the information and the inspiration from it.  Again, I never saw the book as a making money venture, in fact, if I began to wonder if I could be making money without taking money from people and give them my book and encourage them in all things.

I have been to a lot of events, Tony Robbins, T Harv Eker, Jack Canfield and so on.  Other events I have been to were things like sporting events, artistic events and online webinars, where I paid for tickets to go.  So, I learned about affiliate marketing and how many of these companies have set up affiliate sites so that people can make a commission from selling tickets to these events.  Most websites today have affiliate or partner programs, Amazon being one of the pioneers of this.

So, lets take Tony Robbins for instance, he has made tons of money.  He has investors who give his company money based on the returns they get from those investments.  Robbins has been very successful in doing this and I am the last one to grudge him a single penny of it, because he has in fact worked very hard for it.  But, I am bothered by the fact that people pay a lot of money for his products and events and then everyone goes home.  Of course you can use what he teaches to improve the business you are in, which is admirable of course, but to me, the best way in my view to truly help people would be if they could share in that business as well.

100% Commissions Is the Key To Making Money Without Taking Money

So, let me get back to my story… I was working on my marketing strategy for my book Boredom to Brilliance, and one part of this strategy was to offer a monthly subscription to people at a low price and send emails, newsletters, live webinars and a new product every month so I could help people learn about the arts and encourage them in doing whatever they wanted to do.  So, I sit down and looked at it, thinking about Tony Robbins, the coaching industry and all of the people out there doing this online marketing thing and the whole affiliate idea and saw that most companies are doing the affiliate marketing strategy but the commissions were so low that it would take an army of buyers to make any money at it.

I sat down and said, okay, I am going to offer my monthly subscription to people for 10 dollars a month, which comes to 120 dollars a year for each person, and if I can maintain 1000 subscribers then I make 120,000 dollars a year and that would be a good income. I figured in a world of so many millions of English speaking people that it would be possible.  So I thought about it… a lot.

One thing that my book introduces is the idea that it is possible to use my book and what it teaches to learn to make money from your art using the artistic concepts of creativity, scale and leverage.  But, when I wrote the book, I didn’t know how to do that and I was determined to figure it out. But, I couldn’t get the math to work.

Then I stumbled across the Empower Network.  At first I thought it wasn’t very serious, because it looked so much like some kind of scam.  In fact, I just deleted most of the emails I was getting for a month or so.  Then, one day, out of curiosity I decided to take a look at it, and went to youtube and watched a Dave Wood video on the compensation plan of the Empower Network and was literally blown away.  I could not believe it.  He had cracked the code, the problem I was trying to solve he had solved, and what I learned that day was that it would have been impossible to come up with the solution if you had not had the idea that those who would be subscribing to your product were able to make as much money as the creator of the system.   So, in essence, I discovered that I wasn’t the only human on earth considering this type of solution and the only way this compensation plan could have been created was to make it possible for the subscribers to make as much money as the creator does. The ONLY way.

Now, this concept is the basic concept behind network marketing, leveraging the work of many to increase everyone’s income.  It is a good idea.  But, in traditional companies you have all of these qualification requirements, the whole chasing people and telephoning people that they preach, and to be honest, it turned me off. Yes, it is a great plan and anyone can do it, but the gauntlet is too high for most normal folks to really do very well. It is fair, but it isn’t so easy.

This is where 100% commissions plays a vital part and the affiliate method is the true beauty of it, because there is none of this qualification stuff to go through. It is quite simple, one sale of a product produces a commission which goes to one affiliate, either directly, through a pass up or a skip up.  One sale, one person earns a commission and you move on. It is that simple.  The genius of the compensation plan makes it possible to leverage the number of sales you make to people when those people also make sales, through the pass up system.

This way, it is possible to be making money without taking money from people, because everyone has a golden opportunity to make money as well.  The principle of any economy is on the flow of money, and this model is all about that. Giving normal folks an opportunity to sell the products and keep the money as if they were the Guru themselves.

Everyone has the luxury of choice with the Empower Network, there are no musts, only cans. You can be a customer and learn from the products just like any other product available, or you can be an affiliate only without buying the products and make money from the sales you produce. The best way, is to be a customer of the products and use the products to market them, and be a customer/affiliate.  This way, you learn the skills of internet marketing and have those products to sell as if you had created them, because of 100% commissions.

It is a genius way to do business. The best I have seen, the one that makes sense and is totally geared to people making a lot of money.  Again, it would have been impossible to come up with this compensation plan unless you had the idea that it was possible to be making money without taking money from people, in fact, so that they could out earn the creator.

Sometimes I think that none of the people in the Empower Network really show this element enough, because the fact is, it is what makes the Empower Network truly powerful.  All of the empowering principles and techniques you get through the products of the Empower Network are great, and like Tony Robbins, you can use them to make money or promote whatever business or endeavor you are in.  In reality, Dave and Dave could have done this company without the entire compensation plan and done very well with it. But, they chose to empower people financially as well and that is what I find amazing here.  It is the thing that compelled me to join.

We are talking about a 25 dollar product, and if all you do is sell that, this compensation plan is still the most lucrative in the market place.  Everything you need is in the products and all you have to do is tell people about it, some will, some won’t and those who will can do very well.  See the income disclaimer at the bottom of the page.
