Moving Headaches Resolved By Organizing Tasks Into Beginning and End Times

Moving Headaches Relieved By Scheduling Tasks

The most important part of scheduling isn’t the beginning time, but the end time.  The thing I have always gotten slowed down on in any project is the fact that tasks would take too long.  Even if you don’t complete the task, it is important to stop and go on to the next task.  In moving this is of paramount importance, because it is easy to sit over old photos for hours after that task should have been completed.  The end time is what keeps you on schedule, not the beginning time.

Moving Alone Is Heartbreaking

I have been moving house for years and every time it symbolizes the end of a portion of my life.  I am not sure how many I have left in me.  The hopes of moving in and the optimism you had beginning a new life segment is then evaluated when you leave.  I have sold everything several times and while it is good to get rid of the old, it is not easy to get rid of things you have become accustomed to.  It isn’t even attachment, you simply are tired of having to re-invent the wheel.

Moving Is The Essence of The Rolling Stone

A rolling stone gathers no moss and moving is the arch enemy of gathering moss.  Not that moss is such a good thing, but selling out means you have to buy the same stuff again and again.  I’m definitely not one for accumulation, but re-spending money on the same things over and over again is just not wise.

Moving makes it difficult to establish a feeling of home because you live an improvised existence.  I have tried several times to establish a home, but something has always come along to uproot me.  This has got to stop, so the next place, regardless of where it is, is going to be where I put the stake in the ground.  I’m done moving.
