I like to write a lot, sometimes scribble a lot, maybe even do large drawings of ideas and just brainstorming on paper.
What to do with all of that?
I like to work things out on paper. See it in front of me and make decisions and work on ideas that way. Sometimes it is just taking notes and dumping my brain onto paper.
I do that a lot. Dump what is in my mind on paper, into an audio recording or even do a video on something. But, the problem is always what to do with all of that. I have reams of papers at home piling up from all of my “monkey brain’ work, and actually I think some of it is pretty good stuff.
But it is random, and unorganized, just a mess really, and I can’t keep track of it all.
This is what a blog is good for, dumping crap like that on it, just so you don’t lose it or have it take up space in your living space.
Granted, hard copy is easy to deal with, but it piles up over time, and I am all about not having a bunch of stuff I don’t need lying around especially considering paper gets old, print gets faded and pictures get piled up as well too!
So, not losing your stuff is important, but having it pile up is bad for you.
This is why you can use the blog to jot down your stuff, record it and save it on the blog so it doesn’t get lost. By categorizing it with tags, it is easy to call up and it is also recorded on any media you like.
