Sharing Your Gifts to the World = Valuable Content

January 24, 2015

What are you worth to the world?

The sum of all the gifts you share with the world.

It is easy to believe that what we are is of little value to the world and so there is a tendency to think that nobody will be interested in anything I have to say or do so why even try expressing anything and opening it up to the world.

What am I worth to the world? That is a common question for many people but for the majority of people on earth it is a question they won’t even dare consider asking. To these it is not even a topic that comes to mind, because to them life is about survival and simply being happy with what you get.

There is nothing wrong with that. But, really, what is happening in the world?  You have a world full of consumers who produce nothing of real value outside of the jobs they do. They do their jobs to make money and be able to pay for their lives and many do a lot of good by volunteering and contributing to society in other ways. But, what isn’t happening is, the vast majority is not contributing their gifts to the world because they don’t share them with the world, mostly because of a false humility.

False Humility Limits Your Gifts

There is a vast difference between being humble and hiding your gifts under a basket. By broadcasting our gifts we inspire others, but by hiding them under the basket it makes it seem like we are somehow ashamed to have them. Humility has nothing to do with hiding, it has to do with standing out and sharing gifts while not doing it because your ego needs filling. A truly humble person, will never say they are humble, because this is a trait that can be identified by others.

There is enough ‘average’ in the world and there is more than enough ‘below’ average in the world. What the world needs the most is the ‘above average’ and the ‘excellent’ placing their gifts on a pedestal to lift up society and give hope to those who don’t believe in themselves or think they have anything to contribute.

There are certainly a vast ocean of people who have very little good to say about the world or their lives. They blame everything for their problems and argue with a narrow mindedness that makes it impossible for them to receive anything new or good into their lives.

If there is any one thing that everyone can do to improve the world situation it is to be one of the few who praise and exhalt life, point out the positive and are grateful to all of those who make our lives better. That is the first ‘gift’ to be shared.

Speak power, love and understanding into people

and lift them up from the inside…

…no matter how negative or awful they are. This is the quality valuable content that is so needed in our world and it is the most valuable content we can offer. This is our greatest gift. The gift to inspire and give hope is the greatest gift of all, and we all have that gift.

True value is when you give your best, and that is all anyone can ask.

Stop hiding under a basket, stop being silent about your naive hope for the world and speak the truth from your heart. We must stop being selfish with our gifts and start sharing them with the world!
