Who we ARE is very valuable in the world
How valuable are we? Is it measured by our popularity, the services we provide or the products we produce? What is the value of a human being in material terms?
If you take a look at actors of movies, television or the stage they are paid not based on their ability as an actor but by their popularity and deemed value to the production companies. Sports stars and other celebrities get paid huge amounts of money for sponsoring products for everything from shoe companies to insurance.
So this proves that people ARE paid based on who they ARE, not necessarily due to any skill.
Okay, they may do things better than anyone else, but at some point it isn’t their excelled ability to do things that makes them their money, but more because of who the ARE as people. There are a lot of people who can play a sport, act on stage and screen or sing, but what makes people real money is when they become ”somebody” and are likeable to the fact that vendors want to put their brand on their faces.
What does this mean for us, the average guy doing his job? It means that we don’t get paid for who we ARE but for what we DO. This is what as deemed as the proper measure of a person in life. This is what everyone is racing around doing, getting paid for what they DO and not who they ARE.
There is nothing wrong with that, doing an honest job for an honest wage is what we have been taught is the only honorable way to earn income in this world. The problem with it is, it doesn’t pay very well.
In fact there is a vast difference in what an employee thinks they are worth and the amount of money they are being paid to do the job. This causes a lot of friction in the work force and causes bad morale, especially when it is clear that the job someone is doing is really just being a robot to fill a function in a production line of some sort.
The employer can only afford to pay the employee a certain amount of money because the business must make a profit or no one makes money. But, like mentioned before, the employee isn’t a robot but a human being of value to themselves and to friends and family in their lives. But, that doesn’t get compensated does it?
Sure, the employers can do small raises and hand out awards and recognition, and they should, but at the end of the day, no matter of pay, benefits or time off is going to replace the value of that person as a human being and therefore a lot of people who do the work of the world are sour about it and I am not sure that they are wrong in being upset.
If we look at job satisfaction you would have to say that a lot of people who make minimal salaries are happy in their jobs because that job brings them an appreciation for the value of who they are as people. For instance, being a teacher in school, high school or university is a very rewarding job because you garner the respect and admiration of others who value you as a person. This is such a large area missing in today’s world of work.
If you go to a McDonalds it isn’t uncommon to experience employees who are tired, harried and frustrated from the work, with the fact they are earning very little money and that they are simply a cog in the Ronald McDonald’s wheel of fortune, but they also get little to no respect from their employers, fellow employees and least of all from customers who see them as their personal servants, and not as people to be valued for who the ARE as people.
What is the problem here? The problem is that in the work force the value of a person is not based on who they ARE but by the job they DO, and again, I am not saying there is anything wrong with that. But, should there not be a way to earn money based on your value as a person, for who you ARE, and not only from what you DO?
Isn’t it right to reward people for being good people on the merit of their humanity and value as a person? And how would you do that? How can that be done?
I believe the best way to do that is to give people an opportunity to share who they are, and for them to help others share who they are and get paid for it. Which is what this blog system can do. You actually only get paid when someone subscribes to their own blog through your affiliate link, but that is the best way that I can see anywhere to be able to get paid for your value as a person.
We broadcast ourselves to bring who we ARE into the internet world, and when we encourage and show others how to do this simple task really, it is how we get paid.
This is a publication you subscribe to about YOU, and that is a very valuable story to tell. Nowhere else can you get paid for that as much as here.
Share who you ARE with this blogging platform and share that with others, when they start doing the same thing, you get paid, a residual monthly income!
