Series: Parallel Universes- Article 2 – Heaven is already here

The parallel universes of ”heaven” and ”earth” exist in the here and now, together in the same time and in the same place but in different dimensions. As mentioned in Article 1, it exists for you only when you become aware of it, otherwise you are ”blind” to it.

This is the metaphor of helping the ”blind” to see. We are like a fish in the ocean that is searching for water. We live in the midst of heaven, all of the time anyway, but it does us no good unless we take a moment and become aware of it. Stepping into ”heaven” is merely the act of moving your conscious mind into the realm, instead of keeping it bogged down in the seduction of the real world, that gives us our sensory experiences.

The non-sensory experiences are those that have to do with the spiritual world. It is like lifting a heavy lead cloak off of your back. All of life’s troubles disappear when you shift your consciousness. Then, the real world is invisible for a time to you, and that is a good thing. Doing this gives you space to just be human and to be one with God, restoring the original covenant between God and man.

As long as our bodies live in the physical world we are forced to deal with it. We must deal with it, and it is good that we do. But, in order to cope with the real world, we need a space in our lives so that the worldly realm of the physical doesn’t wear us down. In essence, the ability to shift your consciousness on a regular basis, helps us in our ability to cope with life.

When people talk about money and success, they often speak about it as if it is ”against” the spiritual realm. It isn’t. It is simply not on the same plain at all. Our achievement in the world is temporary, our achievement in the spirit world is lasting.

So you eat your daily bread to feed your body and you move into the consciousness of the infinite eternal for your spiritual bread.

The funny thing about each realm is that they can’t exist without each other.

The reason ”God made man” is so that he would have someone to define his existence. We are here to ‘make God possible.’ Without man, without someone in the forest to hear the tree fall, God does not exist, because there is nothing else on earth that can know it exists.

One of our purposes in life is to simple be the ear that hears the tree falling in the forest. Our purpose is to be aware of God.

Interesting isn’t it? But, how do we become aware of God as humans? Well, it is quite easy, the only logical, worldly, explanation for all that exists in our world is that there is a divine design behind everything. A lot of it can be understood, and we spend a lot of time discovering the wonders of the physical universe. But, the physical universe is nothing more or less than the manifestation, or proof, of the spiritual world.

We know that space exists because we see the stars in the sky, and stars can exist only because there is space made for them to exist. You can’t have one, without the other, they define each other.

So, like the fish swimming in the ocean looking for water is constantly nervous, so are we in the world constantly nervous, but both require only having the awareness to know that the water they seek is already around them all of the time, just like for us heaven is all around us all of the time.

We dwell in the house of the Lord, but unless we are aware of it, we are nervous and seeking something that we will never find.

Know that the realm of the spirit world is with you always and find the peace that surpasses all understanding.  Life isn’t living without it.
