Boredom to Brilliance Blog Series: Parallel Universes – The Spirit World and The Real World

Now that we have the ability to have multiple blogs with Kalatu, I can concentrate on each blog’s focus with more accuracy.

So the first thing I have decided to do is to produce Blog series to deal with certain subjects related to Boredom to Brilliance. The first series is going to be about the Parallel Universes of The Spirit World and the Real World.

The idea is to keep the topic alive with multiple posts, while keeping each individual post a little shorter and more specific.

Series 1: Article 1  ”Separate but Inseparable”

There is a very subtle point which is missed by practically everyone on earth. The Spirit World and The ‘Real’ World are two totally different worlds.

There is little argument about the existence of the ‘Real’ World because everyone is experiencing it together, in the same place at the same time. It is the physical world which we live in.

But when people start discussing the ”Spirit” World hardly anyone can agree on it.  It is of course understandable, after all it is ”the undiscovered country from whose born, no traveler returns.”  We consider the ‘Spirit’ World, the world after life, not during life and definitely not before we have lived.

If a tree falls in the woods, does it make a sound if nobody is there to hear it?

To reach an answer to the question of whether there is such a thing as the ‘Spirit’ World, or heaven, the question above gives us a clue!

The answer is, no, there is no sound if nobody is there to hear it. There are sound waves, or rather air that has been pushed like the ripples on water when you throw a pebble into it, but it doesn’t actually turn into a sound until our ears receive the waves and our brain interprets it as a certain type of noise. It is our brain that tells us there is a sound and it can tell us there is sound even if there are no sound waves present. So if a brain is not there to interpret it, there is no sound. It remains silent. It goes unnoticed as if it didn’t exist at all.

The ‘Spirit’ World is just like the sound of a tree falling in a forest. If a brain is not there to interpret it, it doesn’t exist. But, the ”sound waves” of the ‘Spirit’ World do exist.

How do you know they exist?

Because if it didn’t nobody would know anything about it at all. Regardless of whether you believe it or not, it is the ”it” that is present behind the very question. No ”it”, and there is no belief or disbelief in it. In a way, confession of not believing in ”it” is in a way admitting there is something present that you chose not to believe in. So, in fact, it must exist!

So then the question is: What is ”it”?  What is the ”Spirit World”?

This is the most illusive part of spirituality. You must stop expecting a definition for it. You must stop seeking an answer to the questions ”why”?

The ”Real” World is a world of logic, reason, facts and proof. You can ”see, hear, smell, taste and feel” things from the ”Real” world. The ”Real” World is explainable, even if we don’t understand everything in it, we know we will figure it out someday. Scientists and intelligent people will argue all day long that if something can’t be proven by science and math then it doesn’t exist in reality. If it can’t be, it isn’t. Simple proof.

But, that is what is keeping the masses away from the joy of knowing the ”Spirit”World. The ”Spirit” World is everything the ”Real World” is not.

The ”Spirit” World is undefinable and every spiritual book will tell you the same thing. In the Bible, God has no name, because it can’t be named. Heaven is the Garden of Eden that Adam and Eve were thrown out of because they were seduced by the serpent into asking ”God” the question ”Why?”, wanting to know as much as God knows. But, that is just it. You can’t know it because it is not knowable.

”It is the wisdom that surpasses all understanding.”

To end this first article, I would just challenge you to put away all the books and everything you’ve learned about ”God” and spirituality and take a deep breath and for once in your life stop asking questions and listen for the wisdom of the universe which is known as silence. In this vast library of wisdom the great truths of life will be revealed, but you will never be able to say what they are. When you can let go of your ego and your false sense of importance, maybe then you can begin to understand the spiritual realm. It is not of ”This” World, but it exists every bit as real as the ”real” world.

Let those who have ears hear the word of ”God” spoken in the only universal language that exists…Silence.
