Sales Profits Raise Your Income

Brian Tracy talking about sales and showing how it is done ”from the stage”.  I love the title, Sales Made Simple – 14 CDs with workbooks doesn’t sound so simple to me. :-) But I do think Brian Tracy is a good model to have.  We in the Empower Network aren’t required  to sell, but learning sales techniques is good for anything you want to do in life. May as well add this skill to the others you have!

Sales Profits Are The Best Way To Raise Income

No matter what one’s occupation or station in life is, the best way to raise one’s income is through profits from sales. The fact that most people, myself included, have some sort of issue with being a sales person is clearly making less money than they otherwise would be able to do.

It is silly really not to be a sales person because sales is what makes the economy continue to roll.  No sales no income.  But for some reason I feel like a peddler when I try to sell something and so I am reluctant to do so.  The Empower Network sells products and I am a marketer of that product letting Dave and Dave do the selling for me, which is fabulous.  Still, I get the feeling people are hesitant because they are uncomfortable selling stuff to people whether it be bubble gum, a new car or an online blogging system.

Wages Makes You A Living, Profits (sales) Make You A Fortune

This famous quote from Jim Rohn, which he got from his mentor, says it all really.  You can have a job and make wages, but you can never become independent by working for someone else, because your fate is in their hands.  Sales is a very lively activity, because you have to use all of your positive psychology to do it, and it is probably the one skill that can guarantee you an income when all else fails.

Breaking Through The Sales Barrier

I’m preaching to myself here, because there is no one this applies to more than me.  Let’s face it, we make sales everyday.  Most of the time we don’t get paid for it.  Not everyone needs or wants what you are selling and that isn’t a rejection but a process of sorting.  To those you do sell something to, you also have the responsibility to service that sale in some way.

It really is as simple as showing people what you have, answering questions about it and asking them to buy.  If they don’t, great, that is just one more no on the way to yes. There is nothing wrong with that process.

There is nothing more to learn, just do and then learn.  Blogging everyday is also a learning process and getting effective at it is a matter of practice and guidance.  You can find guidance with the Empower Network.  Take a look at it here, enter your email and simply watch the film and observe the way the process works. It is really cool and a great way to do business.
