There Is Nobody Between You And The Universe

Are we alone in the universe?

Looking At The Stars You Realize There Is Nobody Between Earth And The Universe

A bunch of guys and I were out camping at the lake one weekend and we spent a good part of the night just lying on the ground looking up at the stars and philosophizing about the universe above us.  We discovered that between earth and the universe there was likely nobody else out there.  Even if there was life elsewhere it was likely nothing like we could possibly imagine and we wondered if there was life elsewhere would they even be asking these questions, would they already know the answers, would they be looking at us saying…”Gee, I wished we had such a beautiful home as those humans.  That is heaven.”

Between Earth And The Universe Is An Ocean of Darkness

The stars all seem to be painted on the same wall.  All seem to be the same distance away, and yet, each star is as far from the other as we are to them. Between earth and the universe are distances that we cannot comprehend.  Our minds bring it all into a dimension that we can understand, but in reality, the sky we are seeing hasn’t existed for thousands of years.  We are looking at a picture in a museum taken at this moment and no other.  The closest other star besides our Sun, is Proxima Centauri which is 4.2 light years away. Actually sounds kind of close.

Between Earth And The Universe We Are Together On This Spaceship

We all stand alone, one to one to the universe.  The space that reaches our skin is part of that infinite and eternal nothingness.  Lying down on the surface of this planet looking at the stars I come to the conclusion that I am directly connected to the universe, not because of some new age mystery, but because it physically touches me.  Between the earth and the universe there is little if any other life…and we often don’t appreciate it.

I am no astro-physicist, but I heard in a video about the fact that nothing in the universe is pulled, but pushed.  This means that Sir Isaac Newton was wrong about gravity, the apple isn’t pulled to the earth, it is pushed to the earth.  Einstein’s work with light, space and time was proven to be correct.  So what does this mean about the way we think about life?

The truth is, the universe, life, is pushed onto us, we are being given everything.  There is no attraction. We don’t pull in air to our lungs, air is pushed in to them, we simply have to make a space for it. We don’t have to eat food to consume it, it fills us because it is being pushed at us.  Love works this way as well!

The same is true for wealth and money.  Wealth and money are being pushed at us all we have to do is make space for it and it will come.  In essence, everything we have, we have because we haven’t pushed it away.

The hungry and thirsty need only to allow the earth to pass beneath their feet to find food and drink.  Standing still is resisting the push of the universe to give you what you need. This way of thinking seems backwards, but, really, it is true.

Between earth and the universe there isn’t a pull which keeps things together, it is a push that keeps it together, like putting billiard balls into a rack on the table, they aren’t pulled together by each other, we push them together.  So it is with all things.

I think it is pretty cool.  We don’t need to follow the law of attraction but rather the law of allowance.  Stop resisting what you want, allow it, it is being given to you every second of every day.
