The Empower Network is your Place of Business

I used to work at a grocery store and I loved getting there when it opened at 7:00 a.m. and smelling the bread being baked and the delivery people coming and chatting with them and the slow start to the day. By 11:00 my work day was half over and it didn’t feel like much to get to 3:00 in the afternoon, when I would be done. 

When your place of business begins to feel like home, you know you are in the right spot. I’ve had several such places, the theaters I sang at, the universities all felt like a place of business that I belonged in. 

The Empower Network is a place of business for you. A place of business isn’t yours unless you are on the inside, is it? So being on the inside of the Empower Network, makes you a part of it, and not just as a shopper or “fan”. 

Having sung in theaters as a soloist, I can tell you that there is a big difference going to a theater as an employee, singer, of it as opposed to going there as an audience member, even when you know everyone in the theater. It is a strange feeling, really.
